What superhero would I be?

I have read comic books for 20 years now. From the age I could read without problems(three), I have read comic books. As long as I have read them I was always if I could be one hero I would be him. For most of those years it was Wolverine. I loved wolverine he was just awesome to me. The guy had claws and healing powers, who wouldn't want to be this guy? As I got older it changed, I started really liking batman. He had no powers beyond his dedication and intelligence. Something a normal person could strive towards being is what batman was. As I got to the point where I could really see what made a superhero a superhero I started to really fixate on two specific heroes, Superman and Green Lantern. I am fixated on them due to what they have chosen as their life.

Superman

For superman it was to embrace powers he always had but had no real reason to use. He was not human he did not have to protect the people of earth. Yet his childhood with the Kents gave him a sense of he was just as human as anybody else. Just that he had great powers. This gave rise to Superman. He decided he would use his powers to make the world better. No matter the cost time and time again He has fought things far more powerful than himself to protect the world. It is the path he has chosen.

Green Lantern
There have been four green lanterns (okay five, but i will not accept Guy Gardner) of earth.
Alan Scott, was an engineer. He became a green lantern when the flame kept him alive after the train he was testing was destroyed do to sabotage. He did not have to keep the power and fight crime yet he did. This same thing happens throughout the green lantern story. An average man chosen to be a defender of the galaxy. Hal Jordan a test pilot, John Stewart a soldier, and Kyle Rayner an artist. All given the ring all chosen to protect earth. All excepting of a power greater than their mind could probably grasp.

Those are my heros of fiction.
