Some things I would like to do in my life

There are things I would love to do in life. I would love to write a movie and maybe direct one. I would love to work in special effect digital or real models. One of the things I would absolutely love to do is write a green lantern comic.
As seen in previous post I love the Green Lantern. To be able to write a GL comic would be one of the most amazing moments in my life. It would rank close to being saved and marriage(I am still working on even having a first date). It would be something I have wanted to do since I was small. I grew up with Hal Jordan. He was my hero when I was little. I loved my green lantern action figure. The whole idea of this guy who was just a man without this ring. He then put on this piece of jewelry and suddenly became one of the most powerful heroes in the galaxy. He became a member of universal squad of police. Out of 6 billion people He was chosen to protect us. We have hundreds of heroes: Superman, wonderwoman, captain marvel...I could go on. Still we need a green lantern. We need an Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, or Kyle Rayner. We need them. We need a hero who can just give the power away but does not because he feels his call of duty. Someone who accepts responbility for a power they can just leave behind in a second.
But I think of the many heroes, The Green Lanterns have seem more than their fair share of tragedy. Alan Scott watched both his children turn to evil, Hal Jordan tried to destroy the entire universe after he destroyed his city, John Stewart was crippled, and Kyle Rayner recently could not help his friend from being beaten for who he was. Even has a god at that point kyle felt helpless and left earth in the hands of the healed John Stewart.
But Green Lantern is also about redemption. Each Green Lantern given chances to make things right and do the good they feel they never can live up too.

To write a story of this character would be a dream come true.
